Introduction"Passionate" and "proud" are two words that we would use to describe Saxon North. The aim of Saxon North is to promote our culture, heritage and to celebrate Englishness.Ten years ago, English Nationalism was unheard of amongst the general population, The Cross of St George was hardly ever flown, instead the Union Flag was the flag of choice. Thankfully English pride has come a long way since, and now the Cross of St George is flown in gardens and pubs across the country. We are finally regaining our identity, an identity which was lost and forgotten for so long. Political CorrectnessAlthough Englishness has exploded into the mainstream, it has not been without a struggle. Political Corrcectness has threatened to once again destroy our very identity. With councils banning St George's Day for fear or offending non-English people, to the song "Baa Baa Black Sheep" being altered to "Rainbow" or "Happy" sheep in case that too offends people who aren't white. The list goes on and on.English Ethnicity - Anglo-Saxon EnglandEnglish Ethnicity is something we must embrace. We have the right to declare that we are Ethnically English, just like our ancestors did when they fought and died for our freedom. English Ethnicity is a link to our Anglo-Saxon ancestors, to the birth of our language, our art, our military might. These are the things we at Saxon North aim to project to the people of England through the process of art and design.
